He said hello

He said hello and I cried

silly like a child on Christmas night

not sure what had come over me

but sure that I would never see

things the way I had before

that my life would never be the same

somehow with that hello it had all changed

he smiled and said hello

in that second I lost all control

      • I need to keep it. Every time I have allowed someone to have control over me, I have been hurt. I cannot let happen again. And if it means I become distant and disconnected, then that is what it will have to be, because I will not let someone else make the determination to disconnect first – they typically do. So, I must have the control.
