I’m Not Who I Was

Because sometimes a long drive to work gives you time to think…but I’m not who I was…

I used to be mad at you
A little on the hurt side too
But I’m not who I was

  1. Yeah, me too. So, if someone messes with us and we kick their ass, what happens if we hurt ourselves? We have to stop that. πŸ™‚

  2. The nice thing about genetics is they dictate physical characteristics. Thought, on the other hand, is fluid and changes based on the situation and interpretation of stimuli. While it is true we cannot change what we are (eye color, height, bone structure, brain chemistry), we most definitely can change the way in which think & perceive the world around us. Changing and adapting to suit the direction we choose. It is a beautiful thing. And that, as Paul Harvey used to say, is the rest of the story (and it’s science too). πŸ˜‰
